Traditional Worship/Music Services

Have led worship and played/sang music director at many denominational churches.  Allen is easily adaptable to provide interim or substitute music/worship music for any traditional services as well as contemporary praise and worship.  Listed below are a couple of the denominations where he has ministered.

Lutheran Church
  • Sang/led worship in Lutheran chuch and part of worship team for contemporary service.

Episcopal Church
  • Choir director/ organist for Episcopal church.

Presbyterian Church
  • Led worship and played keyboard and sang at this church.

Methodist Church
  • Choir Director/organist/pianist/worship leader.  Conducted choir rehearsals, organist for traditional Methodist church service and led worship in evening contemporary service. 

Evangelical Churches
  • Interim worship director/leader for many churches in Maryland area.  Conducted choral groups for special holiday events as well as played keyboard, flute, and sang.  Worked with Pastor to team up with setting up worship services.
  • Ministry Team Worship Leader to start an evangelical contemporary seeker-sensitive church from the beginning responsible for all music/ worship and musical ensembles/band for fellowship.

Southern Baptist Church

  • Last led worship in a Southern Baptist Church on an interim basis for 2 years where we had a blended worship service of traditional and contemporary praise and worship. Congregation chose to only have hymns, so adjusted and they were pleased with only hymns venue. Did a Christmas concert and special events ministry. Was able to create bulletin and do graphics for that.  Interim to help struggling church continue its ministry.

Assembly of God Church
  • Worship Leader - choral groups for seasonal holidays.  Developed praise and worship for services working closely with the Pastor. 

Music Service

Have provided a music service to Christian schools for Baptist, Church of God, Fundamental Baptist, and Missionary Alliance Churches. 

Taught and developed music services for the above schools.  Included in that were band/guitar lessons/instrumental to choral groups. 

Provided private lessons for traditional/contemporary music.

Have provided musical transcription service transcribing audio tracks to paper music for some leading musical artists.
