Soaking Music
God wants us to soak and be full of His presence daily. This way we are changed from "glory to glory" as we get to know God and live in His presence. Worship and music are closely aligned to allow that to happen. If we will but worship our God daily, we will see a change in our lives. A devotional life is one that honors our God.
Revelation 5:8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying:
You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.
We need to give thanks to God always, which is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name. (Heb 13:15)
15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
My goal is to provide an audio clip so that we can have a time of soaking every day as you listen to and join in offering to God praise and worship and be a sweet incense to our God.
When I taught at the Bible College about worship and the musicians of the Old Testament, it was so interesting to discuss the different aspects of the singers and musicians who would praise God in the Tabernacle of David for 24 hours a day. Today, we are seeing groups assembling for prayer and worship on a 24/7 hour basis. If you've ever participated in one of those events, it will definitely have a positive influence in your life.
This is my passion.. to have an opportunity for regular people to spend time in the presence of God. Because of that we meet weekly to seek God and have times of worship and refreshing that come from the presence of the Lord. Let's allow God to move in our midst bringing healing, refreshing, and peace as His presence changes our lives. Any time people were in the presence of Jesus, they had the opportunity to receive from Him. In a time such as now, we need God's presence in our lives even more. Let's receive that.
